Prague's main Christmas market stands on Old Town Square, between the Týn Church and the Old Town Hall. In 2026 it opens on 28 November and runs until 6 January 2027, daily from 10:00 to 22:00. The tree is lit on opening day at 16:30.
Holiday hours are shorter: 10:00–14:00 on 24 December and until 15:00 on 31 December. Entry is free.
A second large market is on Wenceslas Square, a ten-minute walk away.
